If you enjoy music, and would like to be involved in this wonderful event, then please consider becoming part of our volunteer team. Even as little as 4 hours of your time will make a tremendous difference to the continued success of this festival!

We need volunteers from November 7th – 29th, 2008. You can choose the times and days you are available. The positions, along with some of the most important duties are listed below.

Volunteers are required to be reliable and on time, professionally dressed, 16 years of age or older and to follow the volunteer policies and procedures. New volunteers must be prepared to attend a one hour training session.
The festival values the important contributions of our volunteers. Volunteers are our invited guests at the Gala Concert and are provided written verification denoting volunteer hours should it be required for school or work purposes.

Reception

· Check participants in at the door
· Sell programmes

Adjudicator Assistant

· Announce classes, and participants
· Record marks
· Prepare certificates
