Vivian Chan Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark overall out of Classes 1066 – 1067, Gr. 10 and Diploma Whole Sonata.

Vivian Chan Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with highest mark in Class 1060, Gr. 10 Bach Prelude and Fugue.

Angela Lee Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1015, Gr. 5 Classical.

Angela Lee Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1104, Gr. 4 Canadian.

Angela Lee Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark overall in Class 1105 & 1106, Gr. 5/6 Canadian.

Angela Lee Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1017, Gr. 7 Classical.

Angela Lee Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1110 & 1111, Gr. 10 & Diploma Canadian.

Gloria Cristobal Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitors with the highest mark overall out of Classes 1307 - 1311, Ensemble.

he 2009 Richmond Music Festival concluded its festival with a spectacular Gala Concert on Saturday, November 28 at Richmond Chinese Baptist Church which featured highly talented young musicians from all divisions of piano, strings, voice and woodwinds. Following the concert program, the festival was pleased to present numerous awards, trophies and scholarships to many aspiring musicians. Many thanks to all for making this year’s festival a success!

2009 Gala Concert

Richmond Music Festival presents its annual Gala Concert on Saturday, November 28 at 7:00pm at Richmond Chinese Baptist Church (10311 Albion Road, Richmond). Audiences of all ages will enjoy a high caliber program featuring outstanding festival performers in piano, strings, voice and woodwinds. Tickets ($10) can be purchased at festival venues during the festival or reserved at 604-878-5167 or info@rmfs.org.

The 2009 Richmond Music Festival begins!

The Richmond Music Festival begins Saturday, November 7th with the Voice Division and continues Monday, November 9th with the Senior and Open Piano Division.

Audiences can watch performances daily free of charge! Programmes are available at the venues and at Tom Lee Music (Vancouver and Richmond stores).
