The 2009 Richmond Music Festival begins!

Thursday, November 5th, 2009
The Richmond Music Festival begins Saturday, November 7th with the Voice Division and continues Monday, November 9th with the Senior and Open Piano Division.

Audiences can watch performances daily free of charge! Programmes are available at the venues and at Tom Lee Music (Vancouver and Richmond stores).

Scholarship Update No.3

The following scholarships have been added for 2009:

Prudence Leung Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1039, Gr. 9 Impressionist/Contemporary.

Prudence Leung Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1041, Dimploma Impressionist. 

Prudence Leung Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1027, Gr. 7 Romantic.

Prudence Leung Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1009, Gr. 9 Baroque.

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $250 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark overall out of  Classes 1042 - 1044, Senior Concerto and Concert Group.  

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $100 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark overall out of  Classes 1061 & 1065, Diploma Bach Prelude and Fugue and Diploma Baroque.

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1050, Gr. 10 Contemporary.

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1040, Gr. 10 Impressionist.

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1030, Gr. 10 Romantic.

Peggy Yip Piano Studio Scholarship in the amount of $50 will be presented to the competitor with the highest mark in Class 1020, Gr. 10 Classical Sonata.
